Still, it would be easy to skip this section entirely and we wouldn’t have missed out on much (which is kinda sad). Overall I think this has been one of the weakest story plots yet (also the shortest) but it was nice to return to Poporia. Quite a brisk set of missions here and very reminiscent of the troubles during The Insanity Epidemic (minus the Princesses). We helped the witched recover and restart it. Headmistress Serena’s ephemeral guardian, the academy’s main defense, was discovered missing. We defeated Taera at the behest of the surviving witches and took her journal to learn what befell her. Taera, a star pupil of the Witches of Vadoma, fell under a spell and wrought havoc everywhere.
We journeyed to the dark castle to help the witches.
The Popori Kingdom requested we help to investigate the matter. The Witches of Vadoma at the Eldritch Academy appear to have gone insane. We killed the demon, Rida agreed to return to Pora Elinu and peace was restored… for now. Rida told us that a demon had taken over her army. We gave Arin’s draught to Rida, but her sister’s attempt at manipulation angered her. Princess Arin wanted our help to brew a draught to compel Rida back to her side. Lienyn recruited us to resolve the dispute as the queen was unavailable. The dispute over the new design for a Poporia Kingdom flag got ugly when Rida fled Pora Elinu and raised and army. The elin princesses Rida and Arin were locked in a feud over heraldry.
